Cannot map the c buttons for n64 games
hi so i bought a n64 type controller today for n64 games called a 'retro-bit tribute 64'
obviously the n64 controllers have extra buttons in places and a lack of right analogue etc.
I managed to map it in any other emulator/frontend no problem but i cant do it in retrobat/emulationstation no matter what i do
this is my config for that controller from es_input.cfg
<inputConfig type="joystick" deviceName="Controller (Dinput)" deviceGUID="03000000632500007505000000000000">
<input name="a" type="button" id="2" value="1" />
<input name="b" type="button" id="9" value="1" />
<input name="down" type="hat" id="0" value="4" />
<input name="hotkey" type="button" id="7" value="1" />
<input name="joystick1left" type="axis" id="0" value="-1" />
<input name="joystick1up" type="axis" id="1" value="-1" />
<input name="joystick2down" type="button" id="3" value="1" />
<input name="joystick2left" type="button" id="0" value="1" />
<input name="l2" type="button" id="6" value="1" />
<input name="left" type="hat" id="0" value="8" />
<input name="pagedown" type="button" id="5" value="1" />
<input name="pageup" type="button" id="4" value="1" />
<input name="right" type="hat" id="0" value="2" />
<input name="start" type="button" id="12" value="1" />
<input name="up" type="hat" id="0" value="1" />
<input name="x" type="button" id="8" value="1" />
<input name="y" type="button" id="1" value="1" />
</inputConfig>
i had to manually edit in the joystick 2 functions as i followed guides on youtube etc, but they simply just do not work, can anybody help me out with this? thanks in advance.

Re: Cannot map the c buttons for n64 games
Hi,
It seems that no one owns this controller.
I would suggest trying to map it first in retroarch directly, and once you are good, save the mapping.
Then we might be able to move forward.
