retrobat and mame 0259

Good morning everyone. I installed retrobat v5 and downloaded mame 0259 with her set of roms. if I run mame from her folder I configure it and everything works great. if instead I use it via retrobat it gives me a lag on the audio and no longer recognizes the controller. I put mame64 as emulator and tried to understand but there are too many options. can someone help me ?

You are not supposed to update the version provided with retrobat.
0.259 might have some changes that retrobat is not planned to inject.

I updated it because the current version didn't work and gave me the same problems. so I don't think it's mom's problem. if anyone shares me the various mame options on rebtrobat v5 I'll try to copy and see if it works
