[RESOLVED] gameandwatch artwork not working

Using retrobat 5.3
have the roms in roms/lcdgames folder
have the artwork in bios/mame/artwork folder

Doesnt show the images so its just a white screen with black 'sprites'

initially i tried to run with gw core but it came up with an error on every rom
i selected libretrro mame core and also mame64 and the games run but rather oddly the artwork file for the game was being deleted
Not sure if this was because i changed cores but odd anyway.

A couple of times i got the artwork to show selecting a different core seems to delete the artwork
I never got a single game to run with the gw core

Any ideas on this. Am i better to move up to the 6 beta of retrobat ?
