PS1 games not booting with internal resolution great than 4X
Hello,
New to Retrobat after using Launchbox for a very long time, really enjoying the speed and how much lightweight it feels in comparison
I'm attempting to copy my RetroArch settings to RetroBat as I was happy with these settings, 16 bit and lower consoles had no issues. Moving to the PS1 I'm running in to some difficulties hence the question.
My main problem currently, in the RetroBat UI Advanced System Options, I'm setting the Interal Resolution to 8x and the game does not boot, it shows the splash and back to RetroBat. I lowered it to 4x and had no issues, game booted fine? My PC is more than capable of handling that resolution, unsure of the issue?
I'm using Mednafen PSX HW as it's my PS1 emulator of choice if that helps, DuckStation works at 8x and greater but I miss out on features such as MegaBezels with it not being in RetroArch.
Many thanks.

These are the values according to the documentation of libretro:
Internal GPU Resolution [beetle_psx_hw_internal_resolution] (1x(native)/2x/4x/8x/16x)
And these are the values we send...
What happens when yiu switch from retroarch itself without re-running from retrobat afterwards ? What value do you get in retroarch-core-options ?

Good idea! It's doing the same thing! Which leads me to believe this is an issue with RetroArch and possibly Mega Bezel, not with RetroBat.
