[RESOLVED] Vic 20 file types
Hello
Is there any way to permanently amend file types for an emulator within the es_systems.cfg and es_systems.invalide.cfg?
Specifically, when I add the extensions ".20 .40 .60" to the Commodore Vic 20 (C20), I am able to load the cartridge images that use these extensions with RetroArch and everything is fine, but when I perform an update it overwrites my es_systems.cfg.
As a short term solution I have been marking the file as 'read only' and updating RetroBat around it, which is clearly not the best solution.
Otherwise, would one of the developers be kind enough to write these three additional extensions into future builds? (SEE BELOW)
<name>c20</name>
<fullname>Commodore VIC-20</fullname>
<manufacturer>Commodore</manufacturer>
<hardware>computer</hardware>
<path>~\..\roms\c20</path>
<extension>.20 .40 .60 .a0 .A0 .b0 .B0 .crt .CRT .d64 .D64 .d81 .D81 .prg .PRG .tap .TAP .t64 .T64 .zip .ZIP</extension>
I would appreciate any advice either way

Hello,
Edit retrobat.ini and set ConfigMode to 0 as said in other posts, this disable file check protection.
