Retrobat configuring for 3440x1440 display? Empty Retrobat configuring for 3440x1440 display?

Post by Tapper 15/07/21, 08:08 pm

My main PC uses a 3440x1440 display. Retrobat runs fine, and ES looks fine, but games using decorations do not render correctly. Especially handheld games with non-4/3 aspects.

Is there a setting to tell Retrobat what resolution to scale things to? Or is it hard-coded to expect 1920x1080?

Thank you. Retrobat is awesome. Very Happy

Hmm, maybe it's because of the 21:9 aspect of my screen?

Anyway, I have found a work-around by making custom aspect ratios in Retroarch for the systems that need them. To be clear, games that are 4/3 fit the decorations, but others like gb, gbc, gba, lynx, psp, ngpc needed custom aspect ratios to render correctly inside the decorations. I don't know why.
