If you used ES auto scrape but it couldn't find a game and you still don't have its images/videos on your computer, this can help you:

Newer games and games from some consoles like WiiU and Switch have large names or do not appear correctly when ES generates the gamelist.xml file, which is responsible for showing the list of game names and pointing out the media files to be displayed, and that prevents the scrape script from finding the correct match of the game name to search the ScreenScapper/Games DB database.
Here's an alternative way to get them:

1 - Go to the system/console that is missing game data, press and hold the button to start the game.

2 - Select the scrape option. ES will try to scrape only that game and will show the possible results.

3 - If it does not show any correct option, go to the INPUT button:

4 - Enter the correct game name. Don't worry about typing the whole name with accents or details, sometimes less is more Wink
