[RESOLVED] Vectrex Overlays

Tried youtube and google with no luck. I'm on 5.1.1 and have the Vextrex .vec files in the Vectrex roms folder with an overlays folder in the Vectrex folder with all the .png and .cfg files in there with matching file names to the .vec files. one you tube said to go into any one of the games then bring up the ingame menu options and choose overlays to correct the path but there is no overlays option. Doing my head in trying to get the overlays to work.

Can you try to download Bezels Project from the content downloader, then select it for this system in the decoration menu ?

Strange... as it works for me on RetroBat 5.1.1

Games names have to be the same that image

Maybe it’s about my folder structure then. Looking at your tree I don’t have anything like that. Under roms In Retrobat I just have Vectrex with another folder in it called overlays with the png and cfg files in it. The main games are in the Vectrex folder.

what do you want a screenshot of? I've followed the instructions and installed the Bezel project and did the updates for Vectrex but no luck.

in the roms/vetrex folder you must have only the roms

once downloaded Bezels Project in the folder
decorations/thebezelproject/vectrex you find this

Thank you so much for your help and patience. All I had to do was rename the vec roms as per the Bezels Project filenames and it all works. Thanks again. A happy Chappy now.
