PSP Problem (screen ratio and Lag)

Hello to all.
I have the latest Retrobat built 5.3 and i just added some psp roms in retrobat. I am noticing lag on most AAA games (Castlevania X etc.) and i would like to know if there something i can do to at least reduce it.
Also if i can change the resolution (or something else) to see the whole screen. Now i am missing a lot on all 4 sides, i am playing on a new tv screen 16:9 1080p.
i3 with 4Gb ram.

Maybe, definitely not powerful enough to run the PSP.

I see. So I will leave it to play minis. But I have a problem with the borders also. Can I do something about that? A setting maybe?

I can get into settings for each game, even system, but resolution setting i haven't used that one, never needed so far. The only system that cuts image from all sides is psp.
