System (not game) metadata?

Hello! I was wondering if there is metadata for systems themselves? For example I have tv commercials in video file format for atari 2600, can these be added to the atari 2600 system and be able to view them in retrobat? I don't know if I explain this correctly or if there is such fuction in retrobat or maybe the theme I am using? Is it depending on the theme I use?

It's part of the theme configuration, to my understanding. Like for example, on the CKAU-Book Theme, the system history/metadata info is located here:
C:\RetroBat\emulationstation\.emulationstation\themes\ckau-book\_inc\layouts
(The xml files inside contain that info).
