DOSBox closes immediately, but log command works in run
I'm trying to set up exodos to run through Retrobat using Voljega's excellent converter, and it's not acting like it should.
When I choose a game, the dosbox window appears, then immediately closes and it returns to Retrobat.
The weird part is that the emulatorLauncher.log file shows the command used to open the game, and it works just fine when run in windows by itself. It seems there is some issues with Retrobat itself, some conflict or something where DOSBox is closed prematurely.
Here is an example of the command in the log file. Works perfectly fine without retrobat when I put it in a batch file:
Is there something I'm missing? Can I edit the command to remove the -exit flag and maybe see whatever error is being passed along?
I've tried it with multiple games and I'm at my wit's end.
-edit-
I tried choosing a game and alt-tabbing out of retrobat before it launched DOSBox, then manually clicking on the dosbox window to focus and it successfully launches the game this way.
Could that be part of the problem with it losing focus and retrobat thinking that DOSBox has closed?
-edit2-
I seem to have fixed this by editing the dosbox.cfg to output to "openglnb" instead of "overlay"
I don't think this is intended behavior for the overlay setting, is this a bug?
