[RESOLVED] Error in satellaview
Hi everyone, I noticed an easy error to solve in SatellaView. It is possible to correct the error in the file "es_systems.cfg".
However, every time I make a change, it goes back to editing when opening "Retrobat.exe".
So, I put the Satellaview Roms in a subfolder inside the SNES Roms Folder. And all Satellaview games worked by selecting the correct core.
The intention of this report is to contribute to the definitive solution to this problem in the next updates. If anyone knows of another way to allow changes to the "es_systems.cfg file, I would be grateful.

Thanks, I didn't know.
But I admit to being surprised to learn that an Open Source front end has these modifying limitations. But I think that makes the Front End more stable perhaps.
I managed to solve the previous problem by downloading all the necessary bios, so the problem was solved without altering the "es_systems.cfg" file.

This is not limitation of the frontend but of RetroBat. You can use EmulationStation outside of RetroBat but you'll need to do yourself all the configuration. RetroBat set up evething you need to launch games with many emulators and offer an integrated solution with many options of emulators directly in ES menu. Modifications of core files of RetroBat are protected to avoid issues, but you can disable this protection. Edit retrobat.ini and set ConfigMode to 0, but we will not offer support to people making their own modifications of these files because this can affects the proper functioning of RetroBat and, obviously, we can't test every custom configuration.
