Retrobat suddenly won't load

Hi nothing has changed since i finished tweaking it how i wanted a few weeks ago however i wake up today turn on my pc and go to load retrobat and it gets to the load screen then crashes instantly every time, i have done no updates or nothing new, i tried reinstalling the dependency's and rebooting a few times but it made no difference, it was working fine last night.

Hi no i have a Nvidia RTX4090 and Intel i9-13900Kf, no AMD products in this build.

I found out what the problem was, its when my 8bitdo fight stick is set to 'stick mode' it crashes retrobat instantly when i turn it to that settings, so i switched it back to game pad mode and it's fine, weird why 'stick' mode crashes it.

My Arcade stick is the 8Bitdo Xbox Arcade stick (using it on PC)

Also whilst i'm here rather than start a new thread, why is it when in the Retrobat menu if you go to look at retroachievments does it crash to desktop?

That's because the reteoachievment API is down for a few months now.

Can you send us your es_log file when it crashes ?
The file is located in retrobat\emulationstation folder.

Sure here you go, also can i ask why can't i set Dolphin to full screen? i can in the emulator itself but not in Retrobat and obviously Retrobat overwrites the Dolphin settings

If retrobat interface is in fullscreen, dolphin should run in fullscreen.

Basically, most emulators open in the same window size as retrobat interface.

Yeah i noticed i was in borderless windowed mode, now it goes full screen but goes in my second screen every time, not my primary screen, every other game i try goes fullscreen in my 1st screen

Just place it once on the right screen, make it fullscreen and exit, dolphin saves the last screen it was on
