[RESOLVED] Can get no game to run

Have Retrobat on separate drive connected to pc with usb.  I run the Retrobat program and then when I choose a game, will either show the splashscreen of the game then return to the directory, or will give the message
"the emulator has closed unexpectedly."
Any help will be appreciated,

yo, maybe start by saying "hi". There is a lack of detail on your problem. it is generalized or on a specific system. do roms/ISOs work when run outside of retrobat?

Have you installed prerequisite files ?

I think so but not sure, can you educate me on what I need?

Come to find out launchbox are not working either. It opens opens dolphin and then closes and back to directory.

I think you have either missing prerequisites (directX, vc++) or you do not correctly place the bios\game files in the right folders.

Can you precise an example with:
- The game file you are trying to run, it's location and file format
- The system (wii ? gamecube ? nes ?)
- a screenshot of the directory where the game file is located

I updated to a newer graphics card and now it works.  I don't even
want to tell you what graphics card I was using...nvidia 550 ti
