Retroarch menu in PCSX2 & Dolphin

Hi,

I am really sorry to trouble you. I am a newbie to Retrobat. I have enjoyed setting up various emulators, but I have come across an issue I have spent hours trying to resolve but getting nowhere.
I have set up various emulators within Retrobat and set my controller configs within the Retroarch menu (F1) within the emulators.
That is with the exception of the Dolphin Wii and PCSX2 emulators. For some reason these are the only emulators that pressing F1 does not bring up the Retroarch menu, and therefore I am unable to configure my controller.
Does anyone have any help they can gibe to access the Retroarch menus within PCSX2 and Dolphin?

At first, which kind of controllers are you using ? And which Retrobat version are you trying ?


Because the aim of Retrobat is to remain simple (and entering each emulator one per one isn't).

Hi,

When I run the PCSX2 emulator, the controller mapping gets mixed up. For instance, Start is L1, Select is right thumb pressed, left analogue left moves right and left analogue up moves backwards. I have turned off all the auto configure controller options, but this didn’t change anything.
I am using a generic Bluetooth controller which is recognised on Retrobat as XBox 360 controller.
I am using Retrobat V6.0.

Are you running pcsx2 / dolphin standalone or retroarch cores ?

F1 will not bring retroarch menu because these do not run with retroarch

Ok so does anyone know why the emulator will be remapping my buttons when I launch a game or know a way I can ensure my controller is mapped correctly in PCSX2?

Hello,

With xbox controllers, dualshock or most controllers, the mapping will be correct with automatic configuration.

Maybe try forcing sdl in retrobat advanced options for pcsx2
