Whats the correct procedure for adding .xex xbox 360 games so they don't show all as "default?
Hi all, great work as always, thank you!
Question:
Xbox 360 - .xex games are in a folder with the .xex file name "default.xex", which makes the all games show just as "default" in Retrobat's game list.
The games are in a folder with the game's name like "Game AAA". Inside this folder, multiple files, one called "default.xex".
Certainly, I could look at the name of the folder and rename the default file, or manually scrape it, but I am wondering if something is in place to make this easier.
I tried my luck with naming the folder with .x360 or .xbox360 (I figured maybe it was the same as the vita games - .psvita at the end of the folder), but no luck - example "Game AAA.xbox360".
Is there something easier to do, or is the same style folder name like the psvita going to be added at some point?
I didn't see anything in the wiki, only the m3u for xbla, which works great.
Thank you!

Hello
It's the best way to do. As far as I know, changing the name of the .xex file doesn't block the game to load.

For me it works when the games are stored as an iso file and emulator runs the iso file. What you can do is put ".iso" in the end of the folder name of your game to fool the program to read the folder as iso file

It does get recognized by retrobat, but unfortunately, an error is given when trying to launch the game.

I ended up doing this, but created a batch file to make a copy of the .xex and rename it as game-folder-name-COPYAAA.xex, then changed the extension of the original .xex to .backup so there would be no duplicates in the game list, then in the future, if something changes, I can easily search and delete the new .xex and rename the .backup files.
Just uses more space, but it works.
Thank you.
