The option for netplay does not exist in my retrobat, how do I fix this issue and be able to use and configure netplay?

I recently just installed retrobat with the directions from the website and have it up and running and tested it with a few games, I didn't have any issues with the games or retro bat in single player, but when I tried to set up net play I saw that it didn't exist for me under game settings>Accounts as net play doesn't exist there unlike the YouTube tutorials I was looking at from a month ago for setting it up and trying to fix the issue. Following the wiki didn't help with this issue either because when I went to system settings from the main menu, there wasn't an option to select net play. I tried looking around the forums and didn't see anyone else with this issue. I'm currently on the most current and up-to-date version of retrobat and checked for updates afterward. Is there any fix that will give me back the ability to use net play?

These were the two places I looked from YouTube, but I also looked through the other sections of settings and didn't see the option for net play there either

I got mine from the retrobat wiki on the installation and first startup guide, but I also checked to make sure it was the right one before downloading it by going to the retrobat download off of the retrobat website and making sure the link off of the wiki page went to retrobat's download webpage

As far as we don't know what you have done in your RetroBat, we can't help you.

The option exist. Try with a fresh new install.

I went back and uninstalled my retrobat and reinstalled it with the most current version of 6.30, but this didn't fix the issue, as the option is still unavailable for me to use as it doesn't show up still.

Could you please describe the steps that it takes for you to get to the net play option after you start your retrobat? I did a full wipe of everything relating to retrobat again and did another install and I still don't have net play for any of my consoles, I boot up retrobat and go to menu, then I go to game settings and look for net play there, but It's not there under accounts like getupor's screenshot. I also tried this while inside a console section and the same thing happened where net play was not an option.

So I tried a game I know supports net play because I've played it with other people over net play with dolphin, I went to the console and hit menu to look at game settings and didn't see an option for net play while in the console subsection with the game being displayed inside the console. Do I have to look for the net play option while inside a running game? I ran the game and tried getting to the menu, but I couldn't

I downloaded retrobat from the link provided and ran it but still didn't have an option for net play while in the game settings menu with the new download, I tried looking for it when retrobat first loads up and in the game cube console section with Mario party 4 displaying inside game cube, I played this game before over net play off of dolphin emulator, so I know that it is net play compatible

Dolphin netplay is not supported in RetroBat, you'd need a rom in a system that supports netplay in RetroBat interface.

I wasn't trying to start a net play session through dolphin from retrobat, I was still looking for the option for net play within the game cube console section, I also tried a different game, but I had the same results, but how do I tell if a game is net play compatible with retrobat? I've mainly tried Mario party games and a few others that I got net play to work on successfully through different emulators. A game recommendation would also be good for troubleshooting if you could please give me a game that is known to work with net play so it would be easier to troubleshoot the problem and see if it's just me doing something incorrectly

It's not a question of game but a question of system.
Put any nes or snes game and the netplay menu will appear.

I am actually speechless right now, that immediately fixed my issue, and I'm not really sure why. Before I added the snes game, I didn't have any option to use netplay on any console inside retrobat with the games I had or the option to configure netplay outside of a console, but I can start netplay sessions and have the option for netplay now across all of my consoles and can configure it now. I tested this by starting a netplay session with a snes game and it loaded. But I have a new issue now and a question. When I started my netplay session it said that UPnP port mapping failed to initialize and then that the room failed to connect to the internet, so I used a relay server, and it made the UPnP error disappear, but it still says that the room failed to connect to the internet, is this a port forwarding issue or just a port issue? My other question was does netplay only work for snes and nes or does it work across all consoles? Tried it with Xbox but couldn't index the game because it said that it didn't meet the criteria, which I'm guessing means it's just not compatible with netplay. Is there a good way to see if a game is netplay compatible or not?

Thank you for clearing all of this up, I thought all of the cores were able to use net play. My next question was just about not being able to connect my net play room to the internet even though i have internet. retro bat is allowed through the firewall and I'm using a relay server and I made sure the port it was using was open but I'm still getting the failure to connect room to the internet error

Check the command line spent by retrobat to retroarch in the emulatorlauncher.log file, maybe something is wrong and needs fixing. But absolutely no clue on what should be sent
