eXoWin3x + Retrobat = games not running
Hello again guys!
So I'm almost done with my retro console at this point. I just needed to add the eXoDOS and eXoWin3x collections to my Retrobat to begin playing.
I managed to make the eXoDOS games run and it's all good. However, the eXoWin3x games have not been nice. My first question: To which folder inside the "roms" folder of retrobat should I put the games in? Right now I have them together with the DOS games in the "dos" folder.
The games do open in dosbox-pure but when I pick the correct .exe file to run I usually get an error saying "This program needs Windows installed" or something like that. But as far as I could tell we don't need to install anything to run Win3.11 games on dosbox-pure right?
Any idea on what I could do? I currently have the latest versions of all softwares involved and I used Voljega's eXoDOS-converter to prepare the game library to Retrobat. So all games are now in a zipped folder with a dosbox.conf file inside.
I have also enabled the dosbox.conf setting inside RetroArch once I run the game, but it doesn't seem to help. Any ideas?
Thank you for the help

Hello,
Retrobat does not support exoWin. If you know how to make it work in Retroarch we can make it happen for a future version

Hey! Thanks for the reply! I do knkw that Retrobat doesn't directly support exoWin. That's why I used the exoDOS-converter, which is supposed to prepare the library to be supported by Retrobat.
I'm referring to this one:

Re: eXoWin3x + Retrobat = games not running
For future reference! I got it working, both eXoDOS and eXoWin3x. You must run the eXoDOS-converter and place the resulting output in the "dos" folder of Retrobat.
THEN - this is the key - you must enable the dosbox.conf file loading INSIDE EMULATION STATION (RETROBAT ITSELF). You need to find the per system config -> emulation -> dosbox.conf file setting.
Happy gaming!
