"Project 64" emulator is not working Empty "Project 64" emulator is not working

"Project 64" emulator is not working. I select the rom and put it to run with it, however when EmulationStation tries to launch it the screen is just loading with the "ES" logo. I looked in "emulators" and the Project64 folder is present, but inside it there is only the "Config" folder, there is no executable file and there are no other folders. In the file "es_systems" the command line is as follows "<emulator name =" project64 "command ="% HOME% \ .. \ retrobat.exe / NOF # Project64 #% ROM% "/>.

You need to download the emulator and put it on the "emulators/project64" folder.

have you read the FAQ ?

Hello, I downloaded and pasted in the folder "emulators". But you still don't release Project64.exe. I read the FAQ yes, but I didn't find anything related to Project 64.

Hello,

yes indeed it no longer works, we are going to do some research to resolve it.

But be aware that porject64 is very buggy, you should instead use the Retroarch core for the n64 , it works much better.

Thank you very much for the reply!

Yes, Retroarch kernels are actually much more compatible and I also use them, but I need Project64 to emulate 2 roms with specific texture packs.

The Retroarch mupen64 core is also compatible with texture packs.

Hi, thanks for the effort, but I had already tried this method last week and GLIDE does not recognize the textures of the game, only the JABO plugin does. In other games like Mario Kart, Mario 64 and Star Fox, I managed to convert to HTC without any problem.

hello,

First you need to disable ConfigMode by setting it on 0 in retrobat.ini

Then open es_systems.cfg and replace this line:

"Project 64" emulator is not working C3KMwWG


by <emulator name="project64" command="%HOME%\..\emulators\project64\Project64.exe %ROM%"/>
