I just saw that Retrobat has been updated to version 3.1, is it possible to update my version without losing any of my current configuration?, Themes, covers, shaders, button configuration of each emulator...
Thank you, greetings for everybody.

Hello,

I don't know from which version you want to update, but you can keep your themes and covers of scraped metadata. Since v3, there are a lot of emulators options directly available in EmulationStation menu so it's better to start a new installation. For example, shaders are now directly selected in EmulationStation and not in RetroArch. You can of course import your games and bios by copying them in the corresponding folders. Savestate are now sorted by systems, you can copy your stavestates in your new installation, but check the appropriate folders.
