[RESOLVED] Exit PS3 Emu Empty [RESOLVED] Exit PS3 Emu

Post by flynt 23/01/21, 06:07 pm

Hi,

i downloaded the executables for the "-no-gui RPCS3 Emu" problem. The games runs now like it should, but i cant exit the emu. The emu is still open in background. I tried the option in the emu "Exit RPCS3 when the process finishes" but it didnt helped. I tried also to put a taskkill in the end-script, but ES or your loader did not start the end-script. So i have to close the emu manually to get back to ES.

Bevor i replaced the executables in emulationstation folder i worked... is it a bug in the loader?

Regards

Please do not try to fix the bugs yourself.
After that it's even more complicated to repair...and we don't have much time for support.

Report the bugs, ask us for help, is ok.

This fix works great with a lot of people. but not for you ... why? I don't know what change you made on retrobat. It's hard to help you.

Try this on RPCS3 options:

Hi,

the only changes i made was your suggestions from this post:

Lorenzolamas wrote:FYI, we removed the --no-gui option

You can update EmulatoLauncher to apply the fix.

You must download the zip file available here: https://github.com/fabricecaruso/batocera-ports/releases/tag/continuous

And unzip and overwrite the files with those from this zip file in the "\emulationstation" folder

OK. I found the issue... rpcs3 had custom settings for two games wihtout the first checkbox checked. I tested with these two games. Now it close like it should.

But im wondering why the taskkill from the end-game script is not executed when i hit the hotkey and exit.

Because it's not handled like that on "emulatorlauncher.exe"

Ok. I thought like this. Thanks.

Maybe one advice at this point, when we are talking about the end-game script. On the M2 emu i recognized that the loader makes a copy of the rom from "retrobat/roms/model2" to the emu rom folder "/retrobat/emulators/m2emulator/roms". The problem in my case is, the loader dont delete this rom after i close the emu. So i have to delete the rom with the end-game script otherwise i can't start any other m2 rom. The Emu is closing fine.
I check the folder for a rom with the end-game script and delete it if the script finds one.

Dont know if it is an bug or whats going wrong.

Probably because the rom is read-only. Wink

If it would be, my script wouldt be able to delete it too... but the script can delete it.

I know this problem, I got it, remove your script, and remove read only on your roms and it will work.

Found the issue, i checked all roms for attributes at once an they were not read only... but if check a single rom file the read-only attribute was still disabled, but there was an extra advise that this file is from an other computer and the access is blocked for security. Selecting all files and disbaling the read-only attrib didn't worked. So i have to look for properties of every single file and grand the access. Maybe an ext-filessystem attribute was set.

Thanks.

Next time, don't try to fix "bugs" by yourself.
Ask us before, and if we say "is not fixed yet" you can try to fix by yourself. Thumb up

You will save time, and we too.
