Salut les retros.

Après 6 mois de développement (pas tous les jours, hein !), je suis fier de vous présenter mon thème Arcade Planet.
Il n'est pas encore téléchargeable, j'ai encore un peu de boulot, mais je viens teaser un peu !

Principales caractéristiques :
- 2 system views (vertical et horizontal), avec quelques animations,
-10 gamelist views !,

@evildindon it's missing a ton of systems - I can finish it but where did you get all those pixel style artstyle characters (I will finish it with all other systems / collection I have currently). Find me on discord VirtualMan#3334 (i have other ideals how to leverage assets) in a more effecient way the structure current it's going to take forever to complete this theme.
Please share your source files (gimp) , like Michel does it helps so we can all help. I would be happy to complete this for you as long I get all the source files form you , I can figure out the rest on my own.

Hey Man,

I work almost daily on the theme, so don't forget to update frequently.
There has been a huge update this weekend (added subsets for colorsets, scrolling direction, animation style for random artworks, etc.)
You may check batocera's discord or Retrobat Forum for daily WIP.

I'm filling as I can the missing systems but I know some are still missing. The essential is here though (88 systems and all 11 auto collections)

It's been almost 2 years I'm work on this project, alone, and yeah I would appreciate some help for creating the artworks. You know, developing and debugging the theme takes a lot of time.

The sprites artwork comes - the easy way - from spriters resource, or, if it doesn't exist, I cut it out - pixel perfect - from a native resolution screenshot. It's the longest part in creating a system.
And also, some controllers are missing, for example I recently traced out the Super Cassette Vision controller, as I couldn't find anything on the net yet (I know it looks like a washing machine, but it's the actual look of the controller lol)

Oh, btw :
- Genesis artwork already exist as long as you chose "US" for Region in the theme menu,
- MSX2 can be grouped with MSX, so no big deal. Same for Amiga 500 and 1200.
- Lightgun games (automatic collection) already exist !

And also I don't use gimp, I use Corel Paint shop Pro X2, these are .pspimage files. But I can export my templates to another format maybe.
The most important is to use only clean artworks and to respect some protocols (size and opacity of the shadows, dimensions of the png's, etc)

@evildindon then if you don't want to share all source files i'm ok but please complete request (just for the **Systems** only) - I will donate now for you time send me your paypal link - try to be open minded to share your source files - others are capabable to help and have similar skills and thensome . Lecim/Michel has that mentality to share his source files to empower others to continue the legacy work.  Love this theme and I want to help but sounds you can probably finish my request above and I will donate for your time.

Be very greatfull to have these systems please (Retrobat) supports these systems :-)

@evildindon - can I also maybe entice you to a feature request? I have this in other themes as logo style options menu and I have all the logo sets pre-populated (simple clean, simple frost, simple shadow would be good candidates). As stated find me on discord I can help plenty and have some time as I'm not working for a wile.

I manage to do apple2 but as you can see I need your help when it comes to sprites - i have some desired assets but really need your base template to match your criterias.  Take advantage of free time I have, not working and I'm board.

@evildindon - I'm all done for additional systems I wanted - I just need your source file for the your sprite1/2/3 or share your technique/layers for shadow is retain etc... (I could try to clone method but might be tough) - I will do my best to find assets for those systems and give it same look and feel.  Anyhelp is appreciated and love this theme and did extra qa vertical/horizontal and fix several logos .  Just need sprite source files see if you can export in xcf (gimp format). You best to find me on discord

Man I appreciate you want to help but what I see is not good.

You seem very impatient but all of these systems are on my to do list, and I Try to add at least one system a day.
Don't forget I develop new views and I also debug the theme every day, which takes even more time than creating new systems/artworks.

- The controller Icon must not be a 3D or side view but only a top view.
- Some of your controllers are ok but you didnt apply the correct shadow (or not shadow at all as I can see)
- Pinball icon is very ugly I won't use this
- Vic 20 and Apple II are not good, they aren't reprsentative of the actual computers.
- Same for channel F (side view, not good)
- The sprites or artwork you use are not good : they aren't reprsentative enough of the system, and their size/disposition isn't good enough for the standard I made.
- The sprites shadows are not well sized.
- Size of the white logos aren't optimized. (528 pix wide)

I also can see that your scraps doesn't match the recomandations of the theme. Please Read Carefully the README regarding the scraping instructions.

MIX IMAGES ARE UGLY on my theme, it's not design to display mix images.

Each artwork must be at its place : 2D box, logo wheel, screenshot.
