I am a Noob and need help please

hello I have been using retrobat for a few days and i love it! but i am a noob to it and i just had a slight problem... i am using version 3.1 since any newer version after that doesn't work correctly or is buggy on my 2012 asus laptop but that's not the issue. the issues I am having is that I want to be able to use project 64 on retrobat but when I click on it or try to use it as the emulator for a game it wont work does anyone know the issue or a fix? and yes I do have project 64 in my emulator files. my next issue is retroarch is not saving my configuration... I tried finding information online and the closet I got was someone was talking about going into the retrobat.ini file and changing stuff in there but this might sound stupid i apologize but don't know what that is or where it is located. and lastly I have one more issue that being when I play a game or alt tab to some other program retrobat closes this is a minor annoyance but something I would want to fix as I keep having to open retrobat. thank you to whoever replies back to help this idiot but I cant help being a noob

As stated at the top of the forum, we only make support for the latest version of Retrobat.

V3.1 is realy too old.

I can't be clearer.

Change or upgrade your PC to a more powerful one or use another Frontend.

We are a small team, we can't afford to support all versions (more than 8 versions)  of Retrobat.

if we specify it roughly at the top of the forum, it's not for nothing.

first of all I know your a admin but I wasn't asking you... you didn't need to reply here there are plenty other people on here who could have helped me. for you to sit there and say to get a better pc is so rude of you! its easy to say but not everyone has expandable income to just go out and buy a better pc... and secondly for you to say to get another frontend is crazy of you don't you want people to use this program why turn them away sounds like a horrible team to me. get your head out of you know where and don't be rude to new people like me. and also if you don't want people using this version then why is it on github?

I don't think you understood how support works on this forum.

The support is done at 99% by the Retrobat team (we are 2~3 peoples). (look at my number of messages on this forum... more than 1550, do you think I post gifs of cats?)
I will repeat again and again, the support is only done on the last version, it is written roughly at the top of the forum, and you speak to me of impoliteness ? Seriously guy ?
What are you looking for by answering me in this way?

Retrobat is free, support is free, it takes up most of our free time, we have jobs and family lives on the side.
we owe you nothing, there are rules, which I have repeated several times. They don't suit you and you insist anyway.
Do you still want to talk about rudeness?

No, "not cool people", it's people like you, no matter your nationality (are you racist?) , who don't respect the rules.

If a message is written in large, it is not for nothing. But you don't care, because you're a rude and insulting person.
