PSX emulators Empty PSX emulators

Post by Planetdune 22/05/22, 11:28 pm

I was running the default emulator for the PSX and it felt quite lacking. Switched to Duckstation, did some configuration changes and it looks damn good. Like really, really good. The only problem I have is that the bezel doesn't work if I use this emulator. Is there any way to "make it work" (it leaves the black bars where it should be but there is no graphics).

Is there a technical reason it does not work? I have no clue how the bezels work but I figured it would just be a bunch of images and a text file that specifies what image to use for what system and/or emulator? I was hoping just to be able to edit that text file somewhere..

EDIT:

I think I found them, they are (it seems) in system/decorations/default_unglazed/systems

Not sure yet where these are linked to what system and / or emulator however.

it just doesn't work because the emulator doesn't support it. The emulators that support it are mainly those working with Retroarch.
