emulationstation launching retroarch with default default settings
Is there a way to launch retroarch using its own settings (the one located inside Retroarch emulator folder)? Every time I launch a retroarch-based emulator, it keeps on pre-loading a settings based on emulationstation but it crashes on startup for x68000 hdf games

Hello,
If you really want to make your own modifications on retroarch.cfg, you can edit retrobat.ini and set ConfigMode to 0, then the settings check will be disabled. Mind to save your custom retroarch.cfg if you set in the future ConfigMode > 0.

Where I found this on Retrobat 5.0?
That's been a hell in earth to me since I've updated from 4.02.
All the times that I launch a game that uses retroarch, retrobat loads a "default config" to retroarch.

Re: emulationstation launching retroarch with default default settings
All default settings can be changed in the interface of RetroBat, Retrobat will not override a setting that you cannot change within Retrobat itself.
Maybe in the future we'll add an option to disable Retrobat core/emulator configuration from the RetroBat interface, but as of now the philosophy behind RetroBat is to manipulate emulators settings directly from Retrobat.
Should you have any missing setting or any forced setting that should be available in the RetroBat interface just tell us and we'll be happy to add this option in our menu (provided you can explain what it does / bring / corrects).

So, i'm talking about the shaders, and specific core options.
And yes they saved when I run retroarch in standalone mode, but when I open any game on retrobat, even the interface options of retroarch comes to default.
He was replacing my retroarch.cfg file in retroarch main folder.
Even the option in mesen core to load custom textures comes do disabled.

Hello
For shaders
https://wiki.retrobat.org/tutorials/adding-retroarch-shader-sets-to-retrobat
For mesen textures : the option is available from the RetroBat menu, in the per-system options.

Retrobat will not replace the config file, it writes some settings in the file when launching a game.
This is done based on the settings you activate in the RetroBat interface.
All settings that are overwritten are usually manageable directly in the RetroBat interface.

I'm gonna take a look!
But with 4.02 the retrobat simply loads the global shaders configured in retroarch, that wasn't necessary.
And the textures problem was another thing, that I'll explain below.

So, finally I understand that.
Retrobat loads de retroarch.cfg in System -> templates folder, and that was solved, but, the textures and shaders still wasn't loaded because everytime retrobat runs a game, it makes retrobat-> bios folder, the default bios folder on retroarch and problably it changes the shaders folder to another one too.
EDIT:
Solved all questions!
I simply moved the custom textures to retrobat - > bios folder and make my prefered shader the default one in retrobat with the help of @getupor link above!!
Thanks to all of you.
