How to change retroarch settings
I tried to change the retroarch settings by opening retroarch from retrobat system list.
I am able to change the settings in retroarch and save it (retroarch.cfg). When i load game in retroarch (without exiting after change settings), the changes persist and it work.
However, if i exit retroarch, and load game from retrobat menu, the setting i change is lost.
The settings i want to change is, do not set aspect ratio for vertical games. Currently, every vertical games stretch to use 4:3. Also, i want to change the controller to use 'A button' for select and 'B button' for cancel.
seems like when opening retroarch games from retrobat, retroarch settings is overrided.
Please advise. thanks.

Re: How to change retroarch settings
Finally found a way to configure aspect ratio for retroarch.
I have to set in retrobat per emulation settings. change from auto to per core.
Seems like retrobat will overide retroarch settings. So the settings must be configure in retrobat.

Unless something has changed, I'm assuming we are unable to change the opacity of the bezels in retroarch and have that % stick?? Those bezels are blindingly bright and don't represent what a dark smokey arcade of the 80s was like.

Hello
Can you try to enter your value directly on a .slangp file ?
