Mame64 Empty Mame64

Post by Planetdune 27/11/22, 01:48 pm

Hey

I am using the beta version of 5 and running into a problem with some systems requiring the (I presume) standalone Mame64 emulator. I am just not sure what exactly it is expecting. Is it the 64bit version of regular mame? Something else? My two questions:

- Is there a link to the emulator I can download that it wants to run?
- What directory does it expect the Mame64 to be installed in, as in, where in the Retrobat\emulators folder?

Thanks! Razz

I placed my 2010 mame version in the emulator folder and it automatically “saw” it. It was listed as mame64 under advanced system options

Hello,
You can place either the mame64 or the mame emulator, Retrobat is designed to look first for mame64.exe and if it does not exist it will use mame.exe.

You can download it from official mame website : https://www.mamedev.org/release.html
