Mame and its versions
Hello,
In the past Mame always seemed a "luck of the draw" if my downloaded roms would work or not. This time I want to do some more research. I looked on the wiki and it tells me that retrobat is using "mame (current) with a romset of 0.251.
I checked the official mame page and they mention mame 0.258.
I take that, for maximum compatibility with Retrobat I should use a 0.251 romset?
Thank you.

Re: Mame and its versions
Hello
You have different possibilities.
You can play with the retroarch Mame current core (libretro), and with Retrobat 5.3 this core take romset 0.251.
If you want a mame game from an older romset, you can choose other retroarch cores.
If you want newest romset, you can use Mame standalone, and update it to the latest version
