Problems with RetroArch Quickmenu

Hi. I'm not that familiar with RetroArch configuration. I'm having an issue that when I press down on my left analog stick while pressing the A button in a game, the Retroarch quick menu is displayed. I've tried going into Retro Arch and assigning a different controller combo for the menu (it was previously set to none) but it still happens. Also when only pressing down on the left analog, the in game movement will start down and then stop. No idea what got changed, because things were working fine previously. Any ideas would be appreciated. Otherwise I may try a fresh retrobat install and copy over my ROMS.

Hello Kevin, and welcome here.

First (and after choosing an avatar), you should read the FAQ, specially the one who deal with the fact that settings have to be done in RetroBat, and not in emulators.

Then, for hotkeys, you can read how to navigate in EmulationStation. But basically, if you got this quick menu that appear, it's because you may have select your left analog stick as hotkey during mapping configuration.
We recommend to use the "select" key as hotkey.

You can try to remap your controler with this, and see how it react.
