Mame.ini for hsls
Hi!!
I've spent several days configuring retrobat and I love it. Most of the things were self explanatory or in the faq.
The only problem I haven't been able to resolve by myself regards hlsl
Yes I can activate it for all the mame roms inside Retrobat and it works withsome default parameters, but I need to pass all the fine tuning I want, to the emulator, like gamma, corners, deformations, etc
Usually that would have been done on mame.ini but I'm not sure what .ini file retrobat writes and reads. Where is it located?
I know the interface overwrites many things so...
Any help? Thanks

Re: Mame.ini for hsls
Hello,
Retrobat does nor read or write any .ini file.
Meaning you can use default mame ini behaviour.
Just place the ini files(s) in the right foldee

Re: Mame.ini for hsls
I did various tests. I did clean up any cfg/ini file I've found around. I only have mame.ini inside mame folder (retrobat/emulators)
For testing, I set round_corner 1.0 so it would be obvious when it's working. This is the situation.
- Mame64 from inside retrobat/emulators gives me the correct round corner, it gets it from mame.ini inside the same mame folder
- Launching mame64 (selected as default in game options) from Retrobat gives me 0.5 round corners. All set to auto.
It's then clear that Retrobat either reads a different ini file or passes some hidden parameters.
I can't figure it out!
Any help? I'm getting crazy at this point
