gentlemen of Retrobat, I see that the new version of the system is out... when carrying out tests I notice a lot of evolution and new features. However, that error in online rooms via relay servers is still giving an error. In other words, rooms opened directly by Retrobat fail. the room is disconnected. When doing the process through retroarch directly, everything works fine. As for entering an online section, everything is wonderful, especially with the correction made before the last version, which is the possibility of entering online rooms by retransmission directly through Retrobat (this was corrected and made the online section even better). I humbly ask that you pay attention to these issues of online rooms by retransmitting directly from the system, it will help a lot. Continue the sensational work that Retrobat brings to the world of emulation.

Hello,

We are not aware of the issue, we are able to play netplay on our side and to connect successfully.
So no clue what is the error and we have no debug or people knowing what would be missing in the command line or config file.

Perform the following test, configure your Retrobat to open a network game, example: Cadillacs and dinosaurs fbneo system.
Put your username in the network game settings and leave the retransmission option selected (since I don't have the ports open with my internet operator).
When doing this, open the game in online mode, notice that the game will go up in online mode, but it will not be available for others to connect. Additionally, messages appear on the retroarch screen saying that the room is not online or an upnp error.
How can I help? What do I need to do to help you identify this possibility of it actually being a small flaw in this aspect?

We might start with a copy of the retroarch.cfg file : one with working parameters after closing retroarch, and one when launched from Retrobat BEFORE closing retroarch.

1. opening the game with online mode active via ES, and the error message appeared. (ES_relay_es_erro.cfg)
2. open the normal game (without online mode) and then from within retroarch I did the retransmission and it worked. (retroarch_relay_ok.cfg)

Hello again, I can also confirm that there is a netplay hosting issue with the custom relay server option.  It has to do with Retrobat generating the retroarch.patched.RETROBAT.exe upon hosting or spectating a room (not sure about joining a room via netplay if this file also gets generated within the Retroarch program folder).  

If I use the standalone version of retroarch (retroarch.exe), it will properly be recognized by the relay server.

So I have found a workaround and am working with development to fix this issue on future updates.

All I did was delete the old retroarch.patched.RETROBAT.exe file (if it already exists), copied the original Retroarch.exe file, and renamed it to retroarch.patched.RETROBAT.exe and it works! When you go to host with the relay server settings set, you will be able to have other players join your online session now!

Hopefully they can just put this in future Retrobat installers, that way the user would not have to worry about copying and renaming anything. If there are any future updates on this I will let you know.
