cheats in mame-2003-plus and mame-2003

I need help to place and activate the cheats in mame-2003-plus and mame-2003. I have tried Retroarch tutorials without success.

It didn't work.
perhaps there is 1 step that we are ignoring. Since the cheats appear as not found.

Can you click F1 once on retroarch and in the core options check if there is an option to enable cheats ?

You use the file provided here, right :

Can you show a screenshot of the folder and the file ?

I've already solved it. copy the cheats.dat file and cheat.rzip to the RetroBat/bios/mame2003-plus/ folder.

and the problem was solved.
