Object reference not set to an instance of an object
Hi,
My Retrobat has updated today to 6.3.1-stable-win64 and ever since I've been unable to load games. No matter what system I choose I'm getting the error message:
AN ERROR OCCURED:
Object reference not set to an instance of an object
If I load an emulator manually it's fine, but if I go through Retrobat I get this issue.
Any ideas how I can fix this please?
Thanks in advance.

Re: Object reference not set to an instance of an object
Can you share your emulatorlauncher.log file ?
It's located in retrobat\emulationstation folder

Re: Object reference not set to an instance of an object
Thanks but I appear to have fixed it.
The issue seemed to be related to controllers, as if I disconnected my controller the games would actually load fine, but if I then paired the controller the issue would appear.
What I did was open BatGui from within the RetroBat folder, I clicked SDL Library and then clicked Reset GamePad config. Once done I simply reconnected my controller via Bluetooth and everything seems to be working again

Re: Object reference not set to an instance of an object
Can you still share emulatorlauncher.log so that we can check and fix for the future (and maybe also provide your es_input.cfg file (which in in the .emulationstation subfolder of the same folder as above)) ?

Hello,
Either you place them on a sharing service or if you have gdrive, onedrive or something like that you just right-click and share the link.
Or you join discord.
