Mupen 64 plus next core runs laggy and controls are wrong mapped
Hi guys,
I'm having an issue, when I tried to play games like goldeneye or banjo kazoie using mupen64 core, the games are unplayable due to lagging, so if i use the same core in a regular retroarch the games runs normal, what can I do?
Thank you guys

Ok guys I finally discovered the resolution for this,
In case you have the same issue, with unplayable games, follow this steps:
Open a nintendo64game by using the default emulator (Mupen64 plus next), open the retroarch settings, go options, change CPU core to DynaREC or dynamic recompiler, go to the first option and save the changes for this core, the laggy problems are gone for me after this
If you have a xbox360 controller like me, for an extrange reason the default mapping is wrong with the c buttons, so firstable in the n64game seleccion menu of retrobat, press back button to configure the emulator, go down to autoconfigure controls a putt it off,
after that open a n64 game, and go to Settings (NO THE CORE SETTINGS, YOU MUST GO THE RETROARCH SETTINGS), search the Input menu, go down until you see the C buttons and mapping them correctly by using rigth analog, after that save the current maping in the same ipunt menu and you are ready
Thank you guys, you can mark this a resolved!

THANK YOU both for the information! This has been driving me insane for such a long time and I never knew what the issue was! I thought it was my controllers or my PC! I'm glad to have finally found the resolve!

Re: Mupen 64 plus next core runs laggy and controls are wrong mapped
Hey, I am having the same issue with the controls for N64 games. It seems each time I load a game from Retrobat it is overwriting the controls for the N64, AKA setting the right analog stick on my XBOX controller to be for the C buttons. I have turned off Auto Configure for the N64 System and Game in Retrobat. I even loaded a game, paused it in Retroarch to set the controls and they work correctly. However, when I close the game and open it again via Retrobat I have the same issue again. Any ideas on how to resolve this would be most welcome. Thanks

Save the configuration in Retroarch after making the changes.

But deactivate automatic controller configuration for this system if you don't want that Retrobat configuration bypass the retroarch one.

Thanks guys. I wasn't saving Configurations in Retroarch when I made my changes. After doing that, and having Auto Config off controllers for the N64, the issue was resolved.
