xbox 360 .m3u wont work (issue debugged)

I have been trying to launch xenia with a .m3u as the ROM from RetroBat and not had any luck with using .m3u files to do so. Is this a known issue or is there a trick to make it work, xenia starts but it's log says "X> 00001B60 Unable to mount disc image; file not found or corrupt." in the log file.

I am able to run the same content using a batch file or if I add .iso .ISO to the extensions, but this doesn't solve the use of XBLA/GOD games as these don't have an extension only a folder and a random number. I have tried everything i can think of to make .m3u files pointing to my folders, random number files and even tried pointing a .m3u directly to a .iso file as a test, but this also failed.

maybe it's something that needs to be fixed at the emulatorLauncher.exe stage so that it deconstructs the .m3u into a full path so xbox 360 games work, or xenia needs to add .m3u support. either way I just thought I'd share my results and ask for help.

For whatever reason it is dropping the first letter of the contents of the .m3u files.

I added a dummy character to the name of the contents and it works fine now... This bug needs to be squashed

I can't seem to find the source code for EmulationLauncher.exe to have a go at finding the cause of the issue.

We do not support custom builds of Retrobat. You use Retrobliss, ask the Retrobliss team to help you.
