What is the best settings of retrobat for best visual in games?

I do not know what the system settings mean, and what parameters are better to set.

Enter in Retrobats Main Menu-> Game Settings.
For example, what does settings "Smooth Games", "Integer Scale (pixel perfect)", "Shader Set" mean?
What values to choose in these settings?
There are many values in "Shader Set" setting - NTSC-NES,RETRO,SCALEFX-AA,VHS and so on.
What value to choose for best graphics in games?

And there are also separate settings for each emulator (Main Menu-> Game Settings->PER SYSTEM ADVANCED CONFIGURATION).
What values of parameters to put in PS2 settings, for example?:

Your question is clear, but hard to answer, because all is matter of personal taste.
Some users wants pixels, some others doesn't want's and prefer image that is sharped.
Some users wants decoration to play 4/3, others prefers using widescreen cheats or similar.
So better that you adapt to what you prefer.

For settings, you have to know that Retrobat give you a fast and quick possibility to choose your settings, without searching directly in the emulator's options, but doesn't invent nothing, all options are emulators options. You can then find explaination directly on the concerned emulator

And for your last question, if you don't look for a specific features, and doesn't know nothing on emulation, don't start creating headaches, use the default emulator (that have been choose for his best compatibility and emulation performance).
