PS2 games not launching?

hello!
ive been adding games to Retrobat, and all of my gameboy, SNES, N64, and older games launch and play fine.
but as soon as i get to ps2 games, they "open" as if they are about to load, but then it just kicks me back to the ps2 games library.
No Bios issues, or missing files, no popup warning telling me WHY its not running. its just not.
then sometime they WILL load, then sometimes they wont.. idk

but when i open PCSX2 but itself, loads all the games i have.

Under the Emulator option within the Advance System Options menu , is it set to Auto or did you specify a specific emulator?

ive had it set on auto, and "Libretro:PCSX2"
and both have reacted the same way

3 possible reasons :
1) missing bios files
2) unsupported game format (file extension?)
3) issue with drivers on your computer
