8bitdo pro 2 issues

I bought two pro 2 controllers and if I sync them both to windows then they seem to cancel each other out when gaming. Nothing works. Tried using the 8bitdo dongle for player 2 but was last on some emulators or pc games.

Anyone have the best setup for these controllers? Is it worth changing one to X input and player 2 to a different one such as d or s input?

What have you set them on the back ?

Both in x position. Firmware both updated as well.

Both in x works, also both in S, and also 1 in x and à in S.

So that would mean the controller setting on the back isn't causing this problem. It's something else.
