Genesis Controller

I'm trying to set up a 3 button Genesis controller from the Genesis mini. I can configure all the buttons but it doesn't work correctly unless I specify a hotkey. If I specify a hotkey though, not all of my buttons will be available. What's the best way to configure this?

This controller only has 4 buttons so it will be difficult to use, hotkey can be any button that is already used, but this means that it will trigger hotkey action when pressing simultaneously the hotkey button and any other button...

Yeah, I think it may only work for me as a secondary controller unfortunately. I didn't realize you could have a hot key set as an already assigned key but it still doesn't work right in games. When I press start, it exits the game.

If it exits when pressing start, it means hotkey us not set or hotkey is pressed simultaneously

Just look emulatorlauncher.log and you will see the key sent
