is it possible to play racing games using usb steering wheel in retrobat?

Hi,
I have been investigating the option of buying a second hand usb steering wheel to play racing games in retrobat. I have a couple of simple questions on that:
1. Is it possible?
2. If yes, is there a specific steering wheel that will work better on retrobat
3. Is there a tutorial of the configuration that might be required to make the steering wheel to function properly in retrobat?
