For CDI the only explanation is that your roms are wrong, as it is working perfectly for all.

Try and change the core to mame instead of same_cdi, to see if this changes (i guess no as same_cdi is a fork of mame).

Dsi will be tricky, you need to boot to the bios, I don't remember but we helped one guy one the discord channel, I need to find it.
