[RESOLVED] SegaCD and M3U?
Greetings!
I am having difficulty getting Retrobat to see my multi-disc games for Mega-CD/Sega-CD. I am using an M3U file that points to two .CHD files.
According to the Retrobat Wiki, Mega-CD/Sega-CD supports the M3U extension:
https://wiki.retrobat.org/systems-and-emulators/supported-game-systems/game-consoles/sega/mega-cd-sega-cd
However, Retrobat continues to report each disc separately.
I checked the es_systems.cfg file in the emulationstation folder, and noticed that M3U is not listed as one of the accepted extensions for Sega-CD. Could this be the culprit?
Many thanks.

Hi,
Launch the Retrobat GUI interface and go to the systems list. Browse to the SegaCD system section and add m3u to the extension list.

Btw, are you using folders for your multi-disc games?
If not, RetroBat is gonna show all 3 files in the gamelist if you have f.ex. Game (Disc 1 of 2).chd, Game (Disc 2 of 2).chd and Game.m3u.
I use a .data folder for every system and put all my multi-disc games into that folder, but I keep the m3u file inside the root folder of the system.
For Sega CD it’s gonna be segacd/.data/ and you copy your multi-disc game files here, and the m3u will just be in the root like segacd/game.m3u
You then just edit your m3u file and change it accordingly:
.data/Game (Disc 1 of 2).chd
.data/Game (Disc 2 of 2).chd
Like this way RetroBat is only gonna show you the m3u file thus only 1 entry per game.
