Re-Mapping a Controller
I'm a total Noob to RetroBat so be gentle. I have a generic USB N64 Controller and I mapped it incorrectly in RB. How do I re-map it so I can use the menu's correctly? I messes with my in-game play as well because I have the A button set up to go to the RetroArch menu. I have re-mapped it within RetroArch but it doesn't seem to work still. Help please! Running the current version of RetroBat

Re: Re-Mapping a Controller
Have you tried reconfiguring the controller in the ES menu?
If you are playing 64 games I would use a menu combo like down and start to bring up the menu rather than a native button. On my 8bitdos with extra buttons I use one as a modifier.
ES and RA are different though RA should technically autoconfigure from ES. You can turn this off in ES.
You could also create a mapping and save it as a core override so the system is mapped how you want.
Just spitballing here.

Re: Re-Mapping a Controller
Have you try with the start menu, and use the "controller settings" function ?

Re: Re-Mapping a Controller
I’ve gone to the controller settings in RB but when I press A to map it, it goes back to the previous screen. I also have a PS3 controller and it lets me re-map no problem. The controller functions fine when I plug it into my laptop and use OpenEMU
